CAPABILITY STATEMENT

Clothier Design Source is  located in Minneapolis/St. Paul MN USA. We are a semi-automated cut and sew textile factory. Qualified for WOSB Small Business Set-asides. We are a facility that can produce up to 200,000 garments/units per week. 


CORE COMPETENCIES:

Clothier Design Source has been manufacturing soft-goods for the cut & sew industry for over 10 years. We have also developed the 4 Step Development Process so we can rapidly get any product to market.  We are able to cut & sew products from woven, non-woven to knit fabrications. We have automated cutting and the latest technology in sewing and finishing equipment.

We also have been most recently recognized by Veteran’s Integrated Service Network (VISN), Mayo Clinic, & MN Department of Health in our ability to manufacture functional apparel. 

Veteran’s Administration Medical Center  - Period of Performance June 2020 - Present 2021 

The objective for this time period has been to  create face coverings that meet suicide prevention policies with break-away ear loops and no metal parts. We developed and manufactured a suitable solution that is now being used nationwide in the VA Hospitals.

Air Force/ Army Exchange  - Period of Performance November 2020 - June 2021 

The objective for this time period was to produce uniform issued items for service members of the Army and Air Force through AAFES distribution.

MN Dept of Health - Period of Performance April 2020 - August 2020 

The objective for this time period was to produce PPE items such as Class 1 masks and Level 2 reusable gowns quickly and efficiently.

Mayo Clinic - Period of Performance July 2020 - Sept 2020

The objective for this time period was to develop and manufacture a mask for communicating with the hard of hearing. We created and manufactured a clear view mask with anti-fog technology that is a suitable solution and being used nationwide by Mayo Clinics.
